This house is totally hand made using mostly raw materials harvested from the land. Much of the timer was hand cut with an Alaskan Mill, chain saw mill. Curved woodwork was built from cedar trees \par bent by winter snows.

The main stairway integrates natural stone with snow bent curved log harvested from the land right where the house sits.

Curved natural log and stone creates part of the sculptured "Grotto" effect of the Utility Area just below the mainstairway.

The entire house uses extensive hand cut and milled log work for a rustic, natural effect. Siding is mixed hand cut log planks and rough cut board and batten over OSB shearwall on insulated stud walls to combine the rustic effect with the shear strength of conventional stud and sheeting walls, and R-19 insulation.

Nestled in tall cedars and fir trees, the "Tower" rises almost 40 feet above the ground providing a crows nest view of the Pend Orielle river as well as the location of solar panels and TV antennae.
